It can be seen that HP is a leader in the field of implementing BSM and similar solutions due to its focus on real-time analysis of both structured and unstructured data in the different physical, virtual and cloud environments.

Several key challenges including understanding of market dynamics is important to successfully implement BSM. Modularized application architectures that are increasingly distributed, increasing use of agile development methodologies that quickly changes application identity and the near blurred boundaries between applications and infrastructure and between applications impact the implementation due to the complexity involved.
